A Work In Progress - Please Read
Welcome to what I affectionately refer to as the RockfordReminisce.com website version 2.0. If you enjoyed the original version of the website you might notice that some of the articles that you were used to seeing on it are missing. This is just a temporary situation as those pages are currently being updated to bring you an even more accurate and informational website.
I have spent countless hours on doing research, and I have spent a lot of money on finding original pictures and content. As I do so I have been trying hard to implement it into the new website, but I have reached the conclusion that since I am always acquiring new material, that if I continue on this path the new version of the website would never be launched. After working on the new version of the website for over three years, I reached the decision to launch the site as it stands right now. Please be patient as new items are added, pages are updated and new galleries are opened.
We have come a long way since I launched the first RockfordReminisce.com website. Although it was a great site for education and entertainment, I probably was my hardest critic and always sought improvement. I hope that you enjoy this new version of the site and continue to check back for updated content.
Award Winning Website
I am honored to have been recognized for my achievements with the RockfordReminisce.com website and Facebook page.
The Rockford Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, aka Go Rockford honored me with an “It’s A Great Day In Rockford” award in March 2016. The award was presented to me at the Rockford Roasting Company in downtown Rockford by Addie Longberry and Andrea Mandala, two wonderful representatives from the RACVB . Thank you so much, I am truly humbled by this kind gesture.

Rockfordreminisce.Com Receives 2015 Best of Rockford Award
Rockford Award Program Honors the Achievement
ROCKFORD July 11, 2015 -- Rockfordreminisce.com has been selected for the 2015 Best of Rockford Award in the Education category by the Rockford Award Program.
Each year, the Rockford Award Program identifies companies or individuals that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Rockford area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2015 Rockford Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Rockford Award Program and data provided by third parties.
